My kiddos

Here are just a few random shots of the kiddos. First we have our soon to be Michelin tire baby :) Okay, so he's not quite that chubby yet, but he's working on it. I can't believe how much he has changed. He is definitely much easier than Raegan ever was. He is a very laid back little guy. As long as you feed him (often :) and keep his tail clean, he's good to go. This first one is my favorite. He looks so sweet. He loves to just hang out in my Boppy.
I love the "Ooh" face.
He looks like he's reaching out to get me.
And of course, the much loved paci which is as big as his face. It's funny, we thought Raegan would be jealous since Drew gets his paci anytime and she only gets hers at nap time and at bed time now. She actually just likes to make sure that Drew has his at all times. I guess she thinks as long as one of them has all is well.
And here is our wild child. She has become quite the little drama queen. She is very animated with everything she does. Her latest thing is sitting in a big girl chair. She is saying cheese in this one, but needed to put her hand up to make it look even cuter.
This is her lovely "funny" face.
This one is funny, because we say Raegan has shifty eyes now. You can just see guilt all over her face.
Here she is opening yet another Christmas present. Sadly, she still hasn't opened all of her presents. Since we had an unexpected arrival the day after Christmas when we originally planned to open our presents, we've just let them sit around waiting to be opened. It's been nice, since we can open one every week or so (especially on those long days when you just need something new to do). This picture was actually taken just before Raegan fell off the chair. Don't worry, she was fine.

Week in review

I've been quite the slacker about posting pictures this past week. We had a very busy week, but still managed to take lots of pictures. These were taken yesterday at my grandmothers house. This was Drew's first time visiting his great-grandmother Estelle. He was very willing to let her snuggle him. Here's Rae checking out to see if Mom Owens is holding Drew right. Here is our little snuggle bug resting on Grandad's shoulder. His eyes look greasy because he has medicine in them. He has eye infections from blocked tear ducts :(
For those of you who love "Christmas Story" with little Randy in his snow suit... you will love these pictures. We were so excited it was (kinda) warm today and we got to head outside to play while Drew napped inside. I may have overdressed her a little since it did get up to 50 degrees, but I really wanted to try out her snowsuit. She looked so cute!!!
We did manage to find a little snow to throw snowballs with. She loved it!
Our yard was a muddy mess, but that didn't stop us from playing soccer, chasing the dogs, and riding her wagon. She did take quite a few nosedives and got pretty nasty... but she had such a good time. She didn't care for her hands getting muddy though. We had to keep wipes handy to clean them off. This is her favorite baby doll. She loves to carry her around by the headband, kinda like a purse.
Don't worry, this isn't her baby brother she is dragging around. It's her baby doll again. My two kiddos checking each other out. Raegan looks so much bigger now! Here is Drew's first tub bath. Check out that big belly! He's not a huge fan of the bath just yet.
He did love staring at my vanity lights though.
Here he is napping in his swing. He still sleeps ALOT!
I couldn't resist taking pics of those precious tiny feet. My kids had the skinniest little feet.
Notice the double chin... we had him weighed on Friday while at the Dr and he is up to 9 lbs and 6 oz!!! He's gained 3 lbs in 4 weeks. Raegan didn't weigh that much until she was 2 months old and she weighed more at birth. We really think he will pass her up by his first birthday :)
Last but not least, another shot of a day out with our friends the Ratliffs. It cracks me up that we have to have FOUR car seats to go anywhere. We always have fun though.

Little man and a playdate

Here is our little man. Isn't he a handsome little thing. He is such a sweet, cuddly baby. We took him for his two week checkup yesterday and he weighs 7 lbs and 9 oz. He has almost gained 1 1/2 lbs from when he left the hospital. Not to bad for two weeks. He does LOVE to eat though. So who do you think he looks like?? No one in our family can decide. As my Uncle Ken say, "He looks like Drew!" :)
Here is the big sister checking out her little bro. We have decided that he will probably outgrow her in a year (two at the most :)
Just hanging out. His hair looks red in this picture. We haven't decided what color his hair is, but for now we are calling it auburn. It's looks kinda red and kinda brown and sometimes even blond... weird.
Loving my baby boy.
Our best friends Sonya, Macie and Brodie came for a little playtime with Raegan today. We always love when they come to visit. The girls always chase each other with Brodie wandering around. His favorite thing is "getting" Raegan. He used to just tackle her, and she would squeal. Now, she sometimes tries to run, but usually just lets him love on her. They are all very funny together. Drew just sat back and watched all the extra action.
Here is the whole gang of kids Sonya and I have. Yep, that's FOUR kids under THREE!!! We had such a good time. My little Diva!
Going in for the hug.
Jackpot!!!
This was so funny, because Raegan kept saying "My Mac, My Mac". She was jealous that her Macie was holding Drew. That's the first time she has acted jealous about somebody she knows and loves holding her little brother.

On the mend

For those who don't know, we have had a whirlwind of a week!!! Not only were we trying to adjust to having two babies, but one of them fell very ill. Mom and I had to take Drew for his 2 week checkup on Monday, so we left Raegan with her "Doot" (my aunt). We had just gotten settled at the Drs office when I get a call from Doot that Raegan had started throwing up. Within about 10 minutes, her eyes had rolled back in her head, her lips had turned blue, and she was completely limp. After a ride in an Ambulance to the ER, they decided she had a febrile seizure. At the time, however, Doot said she thought Raegan was dying. It was a very traumatic event, and after much prayer and many sleepless nights I think we all have recovered. Apparently, these seizures are pretty common in young children and cause no long term effects. I now obsessively check Raegan temperature 3 times a day, but she is doing fine. We are very thankful for all the prayers that went up on our family's behalf and ask that you continue to pray that nothing like this ever happens again.

On a lighter note, here are some goofy pics we did manage to take somewhere in the chaos.
This is one of my favorites. Yes, that is a nursing pad on our sons head. Whenever I'm nursing Drew, Raegan comes up and puts the pad on Drew's head calling it his "hat". Here is a sweet one of Daddy and Drew. Tony insists he wasn't sleeping, just resting his eyes :)
Raegan loves to hold her baby brother. She has been very loving towards him. I thought these were cute of the two kiddos.
Notice how happy Raegan is, and how unhappy little Drew is :)
I always love to catch those sweet baby grins. He always does it when nodding off to sleep.
We finally had enough hair for Raegan to need a trim. She had these long whispy layers on top, and the hair underneath is just now growing. Here is the before picture.
And here is the after. She looks so cute with her new "Do"
Here is Raegan just chilling out in her favorite chair. I just thought she looked hilarious all layed back.

Lots of fun

We seem to have lots of funny moments to take pictures of these days. Here are just a few highlights of our week. This is the best family picture we could get of all of us. It's a little off center, but we had one hyper little girl so we had to act fast! We didn't even plan for the girls and boys to match :)
Here is yet another picture of Raegan holding baby Drew.
This picture makes me laugh because Drew looks a little scared :) Raegan was going in for a hug and kiss for her baby brother.
Here is the "hug". She lays her head on him and says "Ooh".
This is more like her... she is tickling him. Can't you just see sneakiness in her eyes :)
This may never happen again, so I took a picture to prove that she actually shared her precious "Buppie" with Drew. That's definitely true love!
Here is my little stylist fixing her hair at her new vanity her mamaw got her for Christmas. Don't you love how lady like she is riding her chair like a horse.
I just thought this was sweet. Drew was snuggling with Junetta and he was so cozy!
We are excited because so far he will actually let us snuggle him. Here he is with his Nana.
Our ever-entertaining little girl wearing her "little red riding" hood. Mom said she looked like she had one of those old time football helmets on :)
And last, her is just a random picture that Tammy sent me from Christmas. It's Ben giving Raegan a Christmas kiss. Don't they look cute in there Christmas jammies.
