Home at last

What a week! As some of you know, Raegan was admitted to the hospital in Bristol on Monday with pneumonia. She ended up staying for two nights and we came home on Wednesday. She is still sick, but they allowed us to continue the breathing treatments, antibiotics, and eye drops (she also had conjunctivitis in both eyes!) at home. They said the only thing we needed to look for was fever. If she got a fever, we would have to take her back. Well, yesterday her temperature started to creep up and we ended up back in Bristol at her Pediatrician's office. He gave her a shot and sent her home on steroids and MORE breathing treatments. Her list of medications looks like an old persons, but thankfully she seems to be getting better. We have NO pictures of our hospital stay mostly because we would just like to forget about it. She did so well considering all she had to go through. On top of Raegan being sick, Tony and I also came down with a nasty case of bronchitis (actually Dr Shrader called it Micro-something) You may be asking where has Drew been through all of this. Well, he got to spend the whole week with Nana and Grandad. (THANKS MOM AND DAD!!!!) We are still a little afraid to bring him home for fear that he might get sick as well, but hopefully he will get to come home soon. I'm sure it's not been easy for Nana and Grandad to adjust to a baby in their house all the time, but they have claimed they enjoyed hanging out with our little man. Raegan, Tony and I miss him terribly. Raegan is turning 2 tomorrow, but we have postponed her birthday party until we are feeling better. What a way to celebrate your birthday!
Anyway, here is Raegan Sunday before we took her to the Dr. She spent most of the day snuggled up on the couch just watching tv. VERY unlike her!
She also took a nap on the couch.
Here is our sweet little Drew Saturday before all this happened. He loves to be pushed in this little doll stroller. I don't think he is going to fit much longer. He is definately a big boy. Hard to believe he is six months now. He is such a sweet boy!

We've been praying for your little girl and are glad to hear that she's starting to improve. Kids usually bounce back quickly so I bet by next week she'll have forgotten about all this. Funny picture of Drew because I just took some of Alena doing the exact same thing. She'll sit in the doll stroller a lot longer than the big stroller. Go figure.
