Why do we even bother spending money on toys?? My kids have always loved playing with the everyday household items. Raegan for instance always loved the Red Dixie cup. Drew's favorite is our hot pink laundry basket. There new favorite that has become a regular at our house is the homemade tent. This seems to be a permanent fixture in our home for the time being, and has provided hours of fun.
All you need is a big blanket, a couple of chairs and an imagination.

I'm surprised that Drew doesn't pull the tent down. Gabe and Mya love tents but Alena just loves to pull them down - which makes everyone unhappy. They are great cold weather time killers, though.
